Sooooooo.......
Our former national freaking SECURITY advisor is trickin' around in the National Archives, stuffin' United States terrorism documents into his pants, jacket, and socks *cough* (allegedly....;)) ....like some kind of a third-rate street weasel.
A few of the documents were then "accidentally discarded"....?
He now regrets his "sloppiness".....?
THIS is a former National Security Advisor...?
Exactly W.T.F. is THAT....?
Burglar's "story" wouldn't fly with a freaking 8 yr old.
Me personally, I won't be pleased with this case 'til good ol' Samuel is shipped off to Singapore to have his arrogant little arse publicly caned.
6 to 8 strokes ought to cover it.
Politics are slimy.
Power-hungry politicians think they can get away with anything, and all too often, they do.

This is bad. Just as bad, in fact, as an anonymous cabinet member leaking the name of a CIA undercover op to a member of the press, who distributed it.

This story makes sooo little sense. I mean... WTF? I just don't get it. Marc's right. These politicos, nevermind the agenda, stripes, or letter after the name, live in a completely different world than the rest of us.
Completely different. Which is why I believe, as I noted in another thread, that blood will be shed if THE PEOPLE were ever to have any real say or control in government EVER AGAIN.

I dunno, Kevin. At least in the CIA undercover agent's name release, dozens of operations were forced to be ceased, people were endangered, and effects were tangible. People can be blamed (and when it's said and done, Mr Cheney's place on the ticket will be rightly replaced) and with any luck, will be. BTW, what the hell was the guy doing making the name public? Shouldn't he bear some fault?
But this Berger story... This story just makes absolutely NO SENSE.
None. But, of course, I'm not following it from the Rush Limbaugh angle, either, so...

Robert Novak is the reporter. Except he's not a reporter, he's a conservative columnist, and he leaked the name to punish Valerie Plame's husband, a former bureaucrat, who has said unflattering things about Bush.

Shouldn't we just shoot Novak unless he confesses that Cheney (last I knew, all roads went to this office in the White House in this matter) leaked the name?
Or, do we want to keep Cheney on the ticket in hopes his long, long list of impropriety drags down the Republican ticket? And, then, is shooting Novak for treason still any less a worthy idea?
I must be feeling violent this evening. Shooting Novak. Beating Delgado to death... I need a vacation.

And don't forget telling Marc to shove it! Man, and didn't you just get BACK from vacation? I'm assuming Vegas didn't make you rich.

Vegas was very, very mean to me. I hated pretty much every minute of it.
On vacation, though, I'm actually going again... my end o' July trip to S Bethany, DE. Leaving in the AM, returning Aug 1. I'll note it in its own thread in the mod board.
