The new Megadeth CD is called "The System Has Failed" and is out September 14th.
I was sent a preview copy and it's amazing. This is quite simply the best album since Countdown to Extinction and it's even better than that.
Great lyrics, killer guitars and Dave "Freaking" Mustaine.... what more do you want? The answer is nothing.... when it comes out... get it.

To start a thread about it must mean it's kick ass...
Good to hear it's better or at least as good as Countdown to Extinction. Been disappointed since then...
Thanks for the review.....(preview copy???...lucky dog...)
Two bands I'm into when I'm not listening to hip-hop: Modest Mouse and Death Cab For Cutie.

Tarkus if you want to get your hands on some of the tracks before they officially come out, consider using a P2P file sharing program.
Right now WinMX (winmx.com) is pulling in most of the tracks for me so I can see what Simon's talking about..
I like some metal now and then when playing Quake or Painkiller :D

yeah I'll give you that one Heathen, one of Canada's perks for sure.
I'll just have to take my chances.... live on the EDGE....
The chances of any one of us getting busted are pretty damn low, even lower if we're not using Kazaa, Morpheus, or Grokster, and even LOWER if we are leeches and don't share files in return.
For me it's worth the risk. I despise the RIAA with a PASSION. Even wrote a term paper for my Composition II class about those idiots. You might as well try to kill off fish by standing on the shore and spearing a few.

Thanks for the heads up, Shawn... :)
Anyone with half a brain will use Bit Torrent for P2P, not some slimy program like WinMX or Kazaa...

I use BitTorrent for all my movie downloads, but WinMX is much faster for music. Curious, Marc, what makes you include WinMX with Kazaa? I agree Kazaa is 'slimy' with its adware/spyware, but WinMX contains no adware or spyware.
