If you had to pick today...

... who would you pick as the best golfer ever? There is no doubt Tiger Woods is the best today and in the last decade, but many could make a strong argument for The Golden Bear, Jack Nicklaus (hope I spelled that right! :uhoh:), who still owns many golfing records and exhibited brilliance for a longer period of time. What do you think?

There is no doubt that the Golden Bear or Arnold Palmer is the greatest golf of all-time.

I will be willing to change this statement in ten years or less, however :)

There is no doubt in my mind that Tiger will be the best golfer ever, barring a complete collapse. But I've always been partial to Arnold Palmer. Jack Nicklaus was probably a bit better and Ben Hogan was pretty good too. But most of these golfers were before my time, so I never got to see them.

Definitely Jack Nicklaus...yeah he won 18 professional majors but a lot of people don't know that he finished second 19 times! and third 9 times.

...also, does jgarcia stand for Jeff Garcia?... the NFL quarterback??... Had a chance to see him lead the Calgary Stampeders to the Grey Cup a few years ago before he tried to make it to the NFL... great player!
