Who says time has no rewind button? First Jeremiah Trotter, now Hugh Douglas has returned to the Eagles. (http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/PHI/7630903)
It's as if 2002 and 2003 never even happened.
Ah, but 2002 and 2003 did happen, and Douglas is no longer a Pro Bowl-caliber player. He's 33, I believe, and I wouldn't expect anything spectacular.
Does this mean Anthony's posts will now be about "T.O., Douglas, and the Eagles" ? ;) Just kidding, Anthony, but I don't know that Douglas will make too much of an impact.

Oh yeah Jacksonville released him because he was good. And the 49'ers didn't re-sign T.O. because he was a good influence in the locker room.

They really are not expecting him to make a huge impact. If they were they would have signed him for more than the league minimum. Derrick Burgess is the starter they are hoping he can be a situational pass rusher. He provides some depth and his leadership will be a huge plus.
