Okay guys .... lets all try to post what we believe are successful candidates for the HALL OF SHAME. Entrance requirements are based on one simple criterion ...... that the athlete or sports personality committed (or planed to commit in the case of Mike Danton) an incredibly stupid act.

Let's see who the top choices shall be!!!!!!

I nominate everyone's favorite ..... Albert "Joey" Belle. Does everyone remember how he tried to run down some kids in his SUV during Halloween. What a loon.

I'm not sure there isn't something I'd pick before this one but it's the first thing I thought of.

Mike Tysons' ear munching of Holyfield. One of Boxings darkest days...

Ryan Leaf

Ike Ibachi- He was supposed to be the "good guy" form of Tyson and was a machine boxer. He than suffered the same fate as tyson and is now in jail

Nice ones ..... how about another gem ...... remember when Vince Coleman threw a firecracker at somebody and ended up burning a little girl in the parking lot at Shea. Crazy and stupid.

Of course, speaking of little girls, I know we all remember Charles Barkley who spit in a little girl's face during an NBA game in Washington. I like Barkley but even he later admitted, it was one of the worst things he had ever done.

Rae Carruth ..... only thought about him the other day. That's a guy with serious problems.

I'd also like to nominate Bob Probert ..... who during an NHL season a couple of years ago ..... was caught trying to smuggle a personal stash of cocaine into Canada during a Red Wings road trip.........maybe the players really do need more money LOL.

Very classy picks guys, keep them coming. What about OJ "the Juice" Simpson .... possibly the most famous athlete/criminal of our time?

How has no one mentioned Kobe Bryant, yet? Additionally (things not mentioned yet):

- Allen Iverson's "I don't need to practice" crap
- John Rocker's tact
- Ben Johnson juicing up and being DQ'd in the 100m dash in Seoul. (This could be the biggest one)
- Robin Ventura charging Nolan Ryan and then getting pummelled
- Babe Ruth's womanizing and debauchery (it's no Ty Cobb, but he wasn't exactly a poster-child for decency)
- Tie Domi: cheapshot artist extraodinaire. Just ask Scott Neidermayer
- Garrison Hearst getting off a homophobic blast about not wanting to play with homosexuals
- Jeff Torango. That obscure tennis player, American I believe, who got himself banned from Wimbledon for life in the mid-90s.
- Fuzzy Zoeller's racist comments about Tiger Woods eating fried chicken when he was asked what he thought of one of Tiger's first tour victories.
- Larry Eustachy getting fired from Iowa St. after banging college girls and cheating on his wife
- Terrell Owens repeatedly running to the star against Dallas (fortunately he got popped for that one)
- Owens again for the Sharpie
- Joe Horn's cell phone
- The Trailblazers post Drexler, Porter, Kersey, Buck Williams & co.
- Pretty much anything out of Mike Tyson's mouth

There's an endless wifebeater section:
Warren Moon
Patrick Roy
Jason Kidd
Chuck Finley (oh wait, he's the one who got beat)
Wil Cordero

Man, don't you just love pro athletes???

Nice points #99, esp. Ventura vs. the Ryan Express. Still got a mental pic of that fiasco...LOL...priceless.

Kobe's probably the newest member to the a-blank club.

I have no beef with O.J. As a former southern Californian, anyone who can clear the Santa Ana freeway that time of day is not a criminal, but a hero. #99 feels my pain on that one, don't ya?...LOL
