Disgruntled cornerback Mike McKenzie returned to the Green Bay Packers today after missing the season opener and all offseason workouts.

"Mike McKenzie is back here to play for the Packers, and that is where we are right now. We will take it one day at a time," coach and general manager Mike Sherman said Wednesday after meeting with McKenzie. "If you hold grudges in this business or in life, it's hard to move forward."

About time the greedy SOB shows up.

Doesn't Mckenzie still want to be traded though? That dude is a perfect Leon if ya ask me...

If there's any justice in this world he'll be traded to Jacksonville before the deadline!

And is it my imagination, or do virtually all of the dudes who sport these long dreadlocks play cornerback? (Ricky Williams was a prominent exception, but of course he retired so he can smoke his ganja, mon).

Now that he's reported the Packers aren't going to trade him unless Jacksonville knocks their socks off with an offer (i.e. first round pick). If he plays well, he's worth keeping for the Super Bowl run.;)

He didn't play much, though. He was in there a bit, but it's a new defense and he hasn't played any games until today. Next week, he'll start and be his normal self.

Conversely, the Bears have not only a new staff but a complete new scheme on O & D. McKensie at full steam wouldn't have altered this one IMO.
