Its Sad that even the World champs couldn't fill Sun Devil stadium. Cards miss Boldin big time. Halftime tribute to Pat was very moving.

Yup ...... Tillman should be revered for what he did. I'm not going to get into a eulogy on the guy but to give up everything just to serve your country ...... not too many people would make that sacrifice, particularly a famous athlete like Tillman.
Must have been an awesome game to see live.
A friend of mine was at this game. He said that it felt like a home game for the Patriots. Growing up in Phoenix, that doesn't surprise me at all. The city of transplants is like a second home for Pats, Cowboys, Bears, Vikings, Packers, Lions, etc, etc, etc...
So is Josh McCown the real deal or what? Dennis Green loves this guy and I don't know why just yet. He's kind of a mystery. What are your thoughts, Pimpbot, having seen him live?

Actually, I was a little disappointed by the Pats fans turnout. Green Bay fans nearly filled the place last year. There were boo's when the Cardinals first ran out, but the Cardinal fans soon re-addressed the balance. However, Sun Devil is probably the only place where the home team gets booed as if they were the visitors on a regular basis.
As for McCown. He seems to have good arm strength and good mobility, which he needs considering the state of the Cards O line. However, right now he still makes the stupid plays that most QB's with under 10 starts in the NFL make. He really misses Boldin. Fitzgerald is a star in the making, but the rest of the wideouts are weak. Throw in that awful O line, and getting the ball down the field is proving difficult for McCown. I seriously do believe, that if the Bidwells let Green do his thing, then the Cards will turn it around within the next 2 to 5 years, just in time for the new stadium out in Glendale.
