What is more fun? Playing or practicing? They are both essential elements to being a good golfer. And I have heard people choose either for various reasons.
For me its gotta be playing. :) But, I spent tons more time practicing them I do playing. I think the fun of it is getting out and seeing just how good you are and if the things you have been working on in practice work out on the course.

I like playing...but going to the driving range w/ a couple friends is fun.

Playing IS practicing!... unless you're in a competition... but if you mean practice by the range and the green... well then, obviously playing is more funner :)... but then again, if your goal is to be Tiger, then you've got to like praticing more!!!
...for me, playing is practice.

Leave it to you to complicate it! :)
By practing I ment, on the putting green, hitting balls on the range, etc.
By playing I mean playing 18 holes, etc. :)

Well, golf can definitely be a difficult sport to enjoy.
I mean, its too difficult to begin with, that is if you CARE ABOUT MAKING PAR. lol If you don't care about how you shoot, I suppose you can have a lot of fun. :)
But, golf is a very frustrating game at times.
