That would probably be a matter of opinion.

I think I heard someone mention a name at some point but I forget what they said...
I imagine you can find out who was the fastest in the draft this year from the combine scouts timing people. I know Vinny Sutherland runs a 4.4 - 40, but I know there is much faster out there (but HEY, he's white, he's got an excuse :) :D :p )

I know Travis Jervey was one of the fastest a year or two ago.

WR Jon Capel from Florida.
He's an Olympic sprinter, who tried his luck at football.

This is somewhat related, but I am hoping to play some college football and was wondering how my speed compares. If anyone out there knows what they ran in college or what you should be running to play in college, tell me how I compare. Right now I'm only a sophomore so I have time to improve but I am running a 4.8 - 40yd and am a FS and WR. What should I be at? I am thinking 4.5???

Anywhere in the 4.3 to 4.6 range should be fine. This all depends on various factors though.
Are you going to a top Division 1 school? Or are you going to a small college?
Are you a tall WR / FS? Or are you 6 feet and under?
Do you have good hands? Do you run good routes? Can you block?
The faster you are, the better. Good college LBs run in the 4.6-4.9 range, so FSs should be somewhere in between the times for WR and LB.

Well I will go to a Division 1 school is I get an offer, or I could try walk on but thats doubtful but I've been thinking about going back to Canada for college (same difference though, talent is just as good).
I am 5'10" and I'm gonna stay there by the looks of it so with that small size I make up for it with my speed and hands. I can block pretty well, this should be a lot better now that I've been working out 5 days a week for 4 months.
I have 2 years to work on all of this though, so I'll just have to keep working and wait and see.
