Any hockey fans out there following the International Hockey League's Turner Cup Playoffs??
Last night, I went to the Manitoba Moose/Houston Aeros game in Winnipeg. It was a great game, even though the Moose lost by a score of 2-1, and now trail by a score of 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.
They tried to have a good ol' fashioned White-Out, but it's not the same as it was in the Jets days! :(
anyway, there were about 8000 people there, and it was a great hockey game... if the Moose don't go all the way, I'm cheering for the Orlando Solar Bears 'cuz they have the coolest logo in all of hockey! :)

I used to be into the Turner Cup but then our local team (Indianapolis Ice) were forced due to money problems to move to the CHL. I believe they won it all in 1990.

Hmmm, never even heard of it. Well geez, Chris!!!!... it's only been around for FIFTY-FOUR YEARS!!!!!!!
...the IHL isn't that big of a hockey league, though... so I don't blame you... especially since you aren't a big hockey fan... the minor-pro leagues, the CHL and AHL, are probably better known than the IHL.
HOWEVER, the Manitoba Moose alone have lost 6 players to the NHL playoffs this year!!!... Including Johan Hedberg of Pittsburgh.

I'm sorry I don't keep up with the IHL. I only follow the NHL a little bit but that is all the hockey I ever watch.

It's ok. I'm American, what do you expect? I am not a huge hockey fan.
