So, what's everyone's favorite t.v. show or shows in here?
Some of my favorites are "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel". And "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" and "The Outer Limits".

When I read your message, it frightens me to realize I don't even watch an hour of TV on some days. lol :) But, its true.
Anyway... when I am watching I suppose anything on MTV is decent, when I used to get Fox (Now I have a satelite without Fox) I used to watch the Simpsons a lot.
Anything sports. :)
Seriously, I watch a lot of sports and I used to watch Survivor, sometimes Millionaire, but I'm not really into watching regular sitcoms and such.

I love watching the sport news shows on all the Canadian sports networks (because I don't get ESPN and any other American ones :()... TheScore, CTV SportsNet, and TSN rule!!!... Hockey Night in Canada has got to be my favorite show!, because I'm a Canadian boy and love my hockey!!!!!..
As for non-sport shows, I am seriously addicted to Survivor... I should get councelling or something... I used to be like that with Millionaire, but I've watched it about once in the past three months -- they've killed themsleves putting their show on four times a week.
I also watch The Simpsons whenever I can... those episodes are good -- whether they're brand new or season one repeats!!!

Actor Werner Klemperer, who played bumbling Nazi commandant Col. Klink on Hogan's Heroes, died of cancer yesterday.
That was a pretty funny show.

I don't watch much TV but usually Who Wants To Be a Millionare (people on that show can't seem to get any of those questions right) and I also watch alot of sports type stuff. I have been watching the court cases about the election so I haven't really watched tv in awhile.

I am so tired of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?."
Boy, is the punctuation right on that sentence?

Actually, since you asked, I'm not sure but I think it should be:
I am so tired of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?".
Anyways, actually that show's never really interested me for some reason. I heard it was kind of a national phenomenon when it first came out, but since I'm not into game shows, I don't really follow it.
Well here is mine:
1.That 70's Show
2.Freinds although there are barely any new episodes
3.Royal Canadian Air Farce
4.Simpsons

Here are the punctuation rules as I know them:
A question mark goes inside the quotes if the quote is a question, and they go outside if the sentence is the question. In other words, if the question mark modifies the quote, it goes inside the quotes. If it modifies the sentence, it goes outside of the quotes.
The period always goes inside the quotation marks at the end of a sentence.
I just don't know if you leave the period off when the question mark is part of a title. I know a proofreader, I'll go ask her.

Yeah, Peck... Royal Canadian Air Farce is the best Canadian comedy show!!!... I can't stand This Hour Has 22 Minutes or The Red Green Show... Air Farce rules -- you'll probably notice that my current quote in my signature is from that show... HOWEVER, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno is still my favorite comedy!!!
Actually, "jamesglewisf" and "Spike," you are both wrong about the punctuation in that scentence, because there is no question mark in the game show titled Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The producers left the question mark out of the title... I think the reason is because that, of course, EVERYONE wants to be a millionaire, so why ask the question!?... well, actually, not everyone -- I'd rather be a billionaire! ;)
So to me, I think the correct punctuation would be, "I am so tired of 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.'"
...It's pretty bad when what we have to discuss about in a thread about favorite TV shows is the punctuation of a scentence! :D

In that case, the sentence should really be:I am very tired of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire."("So tired" was wrong.)
And FYI, if it did have the question mark, it would beI am very tired of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?".Spike was correct. And yes, I agree about the punctuation question in a TV thread. I just don't remember ever coming across such a sentence, and I thought somebody here would know the answer.

Just read your post above yesterday. Yeah, Hogan's Heroes was a funny show, I see the re runs on TV Land sometimes.
My grandparents really like Millonaire, what can I say. Anyone into any sports games or trivia shows? I know FoxSports and ESPN both have ones. Anyone watch?
And to add my thoughts about the punctuation dilemma, I would say it is "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" like that. It may not officially have a question mark in it, but any time I seen something with what, who, when, why, etc., it annoys the heck out of me when the punctuation mark is missing! Another one of my pet-peeves, I guess. ;)

Marc, I've seen some of those sports trvia shows. I didn't really pay any close attention to either, I was just bored and nothing else was on. They were alright I guess.

All the sport trivia shows are well put together, but I don't like them 'cuz I only know a lot of hockey and a little baseball and an even littler amount of basketball and not very much about the NFL and almost NOTHING about American college sports, so I can't even guess at most of the answers...
...at least in Millionaire I can do that... I can get the $125,000 or $250,000 question sometimes, but they're always the ones that the contestant takes about 15 minutes thinking over the answer and I'm screaming at the TV, "IT'S B!, IT'S B!... ANSWER B!!!".... but I couldn't have made it that high anyways so I guess they have the last laugh.

I do that too with Millionare. Some of those people are really not too smart. I saw a lady who didn't know Aaron was the all-time homerun champ and was screaming at my TV. She even used phone a friend to figure it out.

I saw that episode, too!!!... she got it right.. or rather, her phone-a-friend got it right...
...ok so you're screaming at the TV about the sports question, but that biochemist down the street is screaming about something else and thinks she's stupid for not knowing what tertraoxymitrobionuclicotides are!!... he he... (don't look up that word -- i just made it up! :))
