What kind of grade and remarks did your paper on the media and leftist bias get?

From 12/9/04 "Could you revise my paper?"

I got a 92%...but my teacher is a democrat...go figure.

Ah, see! Some left-leaning folks CAN be fair.

Makes ya wonder about the "left-leanin'" media, doesn't it?
:)

dave,

that's what my article was about...i thought it was a good one and some people helped me out with it...but i'll take the 92%

(even though i thought it should have been higher - example: a kid, who some may call a "stoner" writers about how the bush administartion is the worst ever and he gets a 99%)

Just 'cuz he's a stoner doesn't mean he can't write, 88.

Very true, Dave...

The stoners biggest problem is not the writing but how to keep the munchee stains from the BBQ'd chips from obscuring his words...

Very true, Tarkus...

Although for me, it'd be BBQ pork rinds.

Yeah you are right dave...I don't I just get the feeling that i should have had a higher, but I'll take the A. And yes, maybe his paper was good, I never got to read it.

92%, good for you.
Just a small piece of writing assignment advice that will almost always nudge your grade a tad. When you've completed the assignment, add a little more. Something off the wall, but within your subject. An example of what I mean, using your paper as the subject, would be to point out to the reader the bias (remember this is just an example ) in your own report and the irony of writing about media bias from your (nothing personal ) own biased point of view. Most instructors will find the "write a little more" paragraph(s) at the conclusion of any writing assignment an interesting and refreshing wrap up, and will more than likely, reflect that in the grade.
