Great article from Jan Garcia (http://www.sports-central.org/other/staff/j_garcia.shtml), who made his SC debut today, about Sergio Garcia (I'm assuming no relation).
With his youthful exuberance and unquestionable talent, can Sergio be one of the golf's greatest?
What do you think? Full article: http://sports-central.org/sports/golf/articles/article77.shtml

Well, if he'll be one of the greatest, still too early, but I personally do not think he'll be regarded as one of the Top 10 or 20 golfers ever. Is he a good golfer? Definitely. Will he make noise? I think so.

I agree, he is a great golfer, just not as good as all of the golf legends.

I agree with Patrick -- he'll never be one of the best... never one of the top 10 or 20... probably never... I still remember watching the PGA Championship in '99 (first two paragraphs of the SC article)... first real time I had sat down to watch golf.. and even then, only because Canadian Mike Weir was tied with Tiger going into the final day... well, Weir fell out early in the first round, but I stuck around and was able to see that phenomenal shot by Garcia... he definitley has superb talent... not enough to challenge Tiger or Mickelson or those guys, though, for the next few years.

Thx for reading my article guys...this is my 1st post. I can see how you guys think he'll never be one of the best. I agree...he has to do something to change the way he plays or get a little tougher. Maybe maturity will help him out a little.

Sergio Garcia won his first ever PGA Tour event on North American soil on Sunday at the Colonial.

Yep, he did. That's a step in the right direction, a good thing for him.

Well, the thing is... was Tiger competing? :D

Sergio is a great golfer either way, win or lose.
