Mines will ALWAYS be Ryan Smyth and Tom Poti!!! CUJo was there but since he said au revior to edmonton au revior to him too!!!!!!

My favorite player will always will be Teemu Selanne (ANA)... he's a great player on the ice, and one of the best guys off the ice... I was so mad when Winnipg Jets General Manager Jon Paddock traded him to Phoenix for Oleg Teverdovsky and Chad Kilger... now it turns out the Jets/Coyotes got NOTHING for Selanne, because Teverdovsky signed back with Anaheim, and Kilger was traded to Chicago!!....

..oh... was the subject of this thread about my favorite hockey player!?... anyways, I also like CuJo, too... he's been robbed of the Vezina Trophy (top goalie) a few times now... I really hope he plays well enough for a THIRD YEAR IN A ROW to win!...

I also don't remember the last time either of these guys had a contract dispute (although CuJo left Edmonton for more money in Toronto), so other than their excellent play, that may be the reason I like them so much...

Of course, the top players EVER, in my mind, because of their contributions to Canadian hockey, are Wayne Gretzky and Paul Henderson.
