The Home Depot Awards left me, and probably a lot of other people confused. How can Drew Brees win the player of the year award if he wasn't even the quarterback of the year? This makes absolutely no sense to me at all.
Also, I belive that Josh Heupel shoul win the Heisman trophy. To me, the choice is simple. Chris Weinke has better players to work with on offense, however his team still hass a loss. Josh Heupel ont he other hand, has an undefeated record with nowhere near the supporting players that Weinke has.
In other award news.....Dan Morgan is scary. I have never seen this guy without his helmet off before and now I am glad. He looked like one of those physco escaped cons, thatyou see on "Cops". I think the voting committe was pressured into giving him player of the year, because they feared that if he didn't, he would strangle Lee Corso. Which might actually be a good thing.

I disagree... Heupel is a good QB, but he has been struggling in recent games somewhat from what I've heard and his team has played a weak schedule. Anyone else care to comment?

Oklahoma has played Nebraska, Kansas St., and others in a tough division. FSU plays in the weakest conference in the nation.

See Marc, I told you I'd get on the boards!
