What are some of the best books on basketball out there? I'm not talking about instructional-type books, more like memoirs and reflections. I have read both of Larry Bird's books (the second one is particularly excellent, by the way) and Magic's second autobio. Any suggestions?

Well I always liked "The Jordan Rules" by Sam Smith. It's the first book that I read that sort of "humanized" Jordan. Of course Michael didn't like it. But I kind of liked Jordan more after reading the book because after reading it I knew he had some faults just like the rest of us would.
I also liked the book about Bobby Knight, "Season on the Brink" by John Feinstein. It really show how tough it was to play under Knight and how could he could turned anybody into a man after their experience at I.U. And it also showed how loyal Knight is after you graduate because he helped a lot of his kids get coaching jobs.

I read one of Magic's (auto?)biographical books when I was a bit younger. It was really good.

There is one book that was put out around '95 called "The Fab Five." It told the story about how that great team was assembled and stuff like that. It was a great book.

I read in 7th grade a book called Micheal Jordan, it was a auto biography of him it was pretty good.
I've also read and own, I believe, a Michael Jordan biography. But hey, who doesn't? :)
