No T.O. = No stress
He's just back to game - too bad they blew it today. Good game though.

Yeah, what's the problem down there? I missed the morning games (that is to say the 1st games) and haven't seen SC yet. Atlanta just roll over them or what?

They gave up 350 yards rushing. How does that happen to the Bucs???

EDIT: Just checking the stats now. Vick had 127 on the ground?? Yikes!

Bills got some defense.
How'd Seattle do? I see they won - was it impressive?
Niners beat the Rams - that was interesting after the way StL man-handled Denver.
Speaking of Denver - they had some serious trouble with KC. The Denver / NE should be interesting next Sunday night.

Now that Mike Williams wants out of Detroit, how about a Jerry Porter for Mike Williams trade? Would it make sense cap-wise for either team?

Thats an interesting point!
Hey, I just read that kicker Michael Koenen has missed six of eight field goal tries in two games, including all four attempts today!! Why does this guy still have a job? They clearly don't need him (as mush pointed out today 305 yards on the ground!)

The New orleans Saints showed a lot of character coming back from a 13-0 deficit on the road. Even though they beat just Cleveland and Green Bay playing on the road is still tough.

Yep, and how in the heck can Simms throw for over 300 yards and not throw a dang touchdown!!!!:redhot:

I was also impressed by the NY Giants performance yesterday. Eli Manning is developing into a fine QB. I really believe he will be a better QB than Peyton. Not necessarily in numbers, but in titles won. NY is a good solid club.
Great game by Amani Toomer.

D. Hall. ;)
Foulcons D is much improved this year. And they didn't even have Abraham in the game. The "college option," as Baldinger kept referring to it, Really got them a ton of yards. But defenses will start to key on it soon. New Orleans next week will be interesting, I don't see it living up to the hype that is already being put on it.

The Eagles are now halfway to the all-time record for most consecutive losses by a team within their division, as they have now lost seven in a row within the NFC East; the (modern, since 1967) NFL record is 14, held jointly by the 1973-75 Houston Oilers and the 1995-97 Jets.
Packers opened 13-0 against the Saints, and lost. Most costly play was a Favre INT in the end zone. 14-point swing. Favre still had 3 TDs and a good game otherwise, while the running game struggled. Defense showed some good play, but gave up big plays. All in all, the misery continues. 0-2.

^ That was Deuce, I think.
The Monday Night showdown between the Jags/Steelers should be good.

Once again, the Super Bowl pick is NY Giants vs. Baltimore Ravens.
Who You Can Count Out:
- Panthers
- Dolphins
- Redskins
- Tampa Bay
- Eagles
Early Flukes:
- Saints (Remember they made an early run like this last year.)
- Vikings (Not strong enough to stay consistent.)
With overall weakened offenses in the NFL, this will be the year of the defenses. Look out for the Jags and the Ravens.
Keep your eye on the Bills and Jets. They could have decent seasons.
Oakland or Green Bay are the worst team??? THE TEXANS ARE STILL THE WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE... although the Raiders really are bad. They do have moss though, which gives them potential.

Agree with all five - and most emphatically add the Rams to that list.

The Monsters of the Midway are in midseason form albeit against weak comp.
They have two division wins and only four more division games to play.
Deangelo Williams scored HIS first NFL touchdown. I said all through the season last year HE was the best back in college football and it is time for John Fox to recognize that and bring Deshun Foster off the bench.
