Got this from ESPN:

5) What was the best playoff performance between 2000 and 2005?

Roger Clemens (2000 ALCS): Tosses one-hit shutout in Game 4
Bobby Jones (2000 NLDS): One-hit shutout wins Game 4 after 5.06 ERA during season
Luis Gonzalez (2001): Series-winning hit off Mariano Rivera beats Yankees
Randy Johnson (2001): Starts and wins Games 2 and 6, wins Game 7 in relief
Barry Bonds (2002): Hit .471 with 4 HR, 13 BB in losing effort
Josh Beckett (2003): Beats Yankees in clincher with shutout in Game 6
Adam Kennedy (2003 ALCS): Hit 3 HR in Game 5 win after hitting 7HR all season
Carlos Beltran (2004 NLDS): Hit 4 HR to lead Astros past favored Braves
David Oritz (2004 ALCS): Walk-off HR in 12th, walk-off single in 14th keeps Sox alive
Curt Schilling (2004 ALCS): Bloody sock and all, wins Game 6 in New York
Chris Burke (2005 NLDS): 18th-inning, walk-off HR sends Astros to NLCS

I say Luis Gonzalez winning hit in the 2001 WS against the NY Yankees.

Randy Johnson (2001): Starts and wins Games 2 and 6, wins Game 7 in relief
Chris Burke (2005 NLDS): 18th-inning, walk-off HR sends Astros to NLCS

Id say one of those 2. Johnson because thats 3 of the 4 wins needed to win the world series. And Burke because that saved the Astros arms. If the astros had to go back and play game 5, their arms would have been spent going into the NLCS, if they would have even made it.

I like Randy Johnson (2001) games 2-6-and 7 relief.
Rockets, 1 hit shutout is amazing... but I think the best is:
Schilling game 6 (bloody sock) only because we expect all those greats listed above to come through for us. In this game - no one knew what to expect. He had his tendons stapled to his ankle and we all crossed our fingers. Plus... given it was game 6 after the Yanks come out and win the 1st 3.
thats just my opinion :D

Pujols will bring us great play in the postseason for years to come.
