The Mets have a new stadium set to open in 2009! the name is CitiField,. Like it? Thoughts? you think that shea was fine?

I've never been, but from what I have heard the fact that Shea was in a section of town called Flushing Meadows was rather apropos. From what I understand Shea was pretty much a dump and getting pretty run down and the Mets are actually one of those teams who actually need a new stadium just for the sake of making the fans having an enjoyable experience.

Yep, Shea is pretty much a dump in the middle of Queens.
