It won't fix everything entirely but it is a start. I think he probably fell on the sword since there is no way they could possibly fire Bobby outright Jeff became the sacrificial lamb and I think he saw the writing on the wall.

How sad is this? Apparently the FSU boosters passed the hat and collected enough coin to pay Jeff Bowden over 500K to get to steppin'

The sad thing is if you read some of the quotes from Bobby he just doesn't seem to get it at all:

He definitely comes off as being a bit pissed about the fact that the boosters ran his son out of town. The thing I don't get is how much longer was he going to let his son screw up before realizing he was not the right man for the job. I could almost understand if it were his first year on the job, but the offense has been in a steady decline since Richt left and Jeff Bowden took over the offense.
