Something tells me Izzo wasn't really being considered for the job, but someone involved in the search said "we'll look at everyone"... then some writer said "'everyone' includes Izzo, right?"

This search is absurd. Tonight, there are reports from Cleveland that MSU hired Browns D-Coordinator Todd Grantham...but an MSU TV station is reporting Cincy's Dantonio...

Meanwhile, since about 11pm last night people on a very big Spartans message board have been TRACKING plane flights. A private jet (leased to a former MSU grad and Columbus Blue Jackets owner, I believe) last night apparently went from Lansing to BATON ROUGE (so they got their hopes up for Bo Pelini), made a stop over in Cincy and then on to Lansing. Folks from the messageboard went to the airport (at 1am-ish at this point) to spot who got off...The AD, some of the other hiring committee and IZZO.

This coaching search is insane.
