I plan to spend Christmas with my mom and dad.

I also plan to watch every college football bowl game during the Christmas season and some college basketball.

I also will be going to a lot of stores-not to necessarily buy something, but to window shop. I like going to Radio Shack-Goody's-Target and J.C. Penny's.

We're doing a "Christmas" this weekend in Minnesota. We are off and have the time to go to see my mother in law.
I'll be off the weekend before Christmas also, and will likely go see my daughter, if she cannot get back here.

Catman I guess we are the only two with Christmas plans this season.

Think we might be going to Atlanta, but that's around New Year's. Nothing special...

Bama, I usually don't do much around Christmas, as I think it has become entirely too commercial and people have forgotten the real reason for the season.
I spent a couple of hours with my sister and my wife's uncle in the Twin Cities today, and I'll go see my dad a couple of times this season also.

I'm unofficial done with school until January 3. By unofficial, I mean that I have to hand a couple papers and take one final, but I'm back home and will just drive to the campus when needed (which is only 3 days this week).

Other than that, I'll spend the Saturday before Christmas with my dad's side of the family and Christmas day with my mom's side. As I said in the Thanksgiving thread, both my mom's family and dad's family are relatively local, so it makes things nice and easy.

I'm hoping for some cash this Christmas.

And I'll probably spend New Year's some of my friends. That'll be cool.

I am planning on going to Washington D.C. December 16th through the 24th (we will actually be driving the trip, so it won't entirely be spent in Washington), home with my mother and family on December 25th and then back at work on December 26th.

My niece has been saving up money for nearly a year, expecting her uncle to take her to the Mall of America.

How far are the twin cities from the Ames/Des Moines area?

Catman I just spend time with my parents. We have a nice meal and enjoy some football.

I do enjoy walking around the mall. I was walking out of Target Saturday and found a bag on the floor full of new earrings. Bad thing they are not my type.

People drop all kind of stuff while shopping. Yes even money or leave billfolds on top of pay phones. You really have to be careful this time of year.

I will be at home watching lots of sports while spending time with family. My wife and I are expecting our second child this January so we will not be doing any traveling. It will be our second little girl. In preparing for any boys that could be hovering around years from now I have purchased my third gun and my wife has purchased a gun safe for me this Christmas.:D

I agree with Catman that Christmas is too commercial, my family usually spends a lot of time doing church activities this time of year which is a good reminder of what we are celebrating.

My grandparents are coming up from Florida. Other that I'll probably watch some football and hang out with my friends. And of course looking forward to the Outback Bowl.

Be merry or marry?

She finally pummeled ya into submission, ehh mush?

I'll be eating chocolate and playing Super Nintendo most likely on the 25th. And the 26th-31st for that matter.

OMG! One of my favorite Christmas movies.

"Aunt Bethany, why don't you say Grace"

"Grace? She died YEARS ago!"

"THE BLESSSSSING!" (Uncle Lewis as he points to his mouth).........

Clark: Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?
Eddie: Naw, I'm doing just fine, Clark.

Eddie: You surprised to see us, Clark?
Clark: Oh, Eddie... If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now.

"What are you looking at?"

"Oh, the silent majesty of a winter's morn. The clean, cool chill of the holiday air. An asshole in his bathrobe, emptying a chemical toilet into my sewer."

I need to bring Christmas Vacation out of the DVD collection and get in the holiday spirit.

And, I might need to watch more than just one of my all-time favorite comedies tonight, as I just read Peter Boyle died at the age of 71.

It's time to break-out Young Frankenstein!

Reminds me of my favorite moment in the original National Lampoon's Vacation when Eddie says to Clark it looks "like you could use a cold one." After Clark replies "I sure could, Eddie," Eddie hands Clark his opened beer that he had been drinking out of and gets himself a fresh one.

That is classic comedy!

Whoops! Hijacked thread!!:o

My plans for Christmas are simple: since all my family (with the exception of my sisters) lives within 2 miles of me, we will be spending Christmas here. Christmas Eve at my parent's house, Christmas day at ours with my in-laws......

However, as the big kahuna around here, are you really a babe? We need proof! :D You seem quite popular.

Hey Marc :wavey:
Of course.. LOL! I don't know. All I know is that I posted my pic as my avatar on Sportsline and the next day I was chosen as a favorite by over 400 members. I also had to deal with a lot of harassment... some good but mostly bad. So it was nice to start over here. I considered changing my user name and going completely incognito but I wanted my old crew to recognize me too so I stuck with it. There is a pic of me on my profile on here... but thats the extent of it for me. I refuse to go through the hell I went through on CBS again! Yikes!

Wow, a woman on SCMB. Women here are harassed almost as much as Lakers fans. And they're almost as feisty!

And remixing my Christmas plans... I think I have to go to church. Church on Sunday and Monday?! *sigh* Oh well, chocolate binging and Super Nintendo playing are still in the cards. And maybe I'll watch a bowl game or something.

Oh yeah? Well, I, uh, have an 8.6 rating on HotorNot, so there! http://www.hotornot.com/r/?eid=AZHEN8G&key=UVU :D

Our b-days are six days apart, yay for January! I turn the big 2-1. I usually don't date older women, though. *runs*

Christmas at our house always means watching Christmas Vacation for the 50th time. I like the part when "cousin Eddie" talking of his son's job at the carnival, saying he may work his way up to be 'barking' for the Yak Woman. And "the *****ter's full". Eating too much, drinking too much. Thinking about the troops over in Iraq, and wishing they were home with their families. Merry Christmas everyone!

I am not flirting Wuffy. You know me better than that. ;) I was just responding to Marc's question about wanting proof that I was a babe. I knew it was a mistake to use the same screen name as I did on Sportsline. yikes! NYG Gal would have been better now come to think of it. Oh well!
