From what I hear and read those Oregon Ducks are going to be awesome. They even have a pretty good defense this year. Florida State will always be up there even if they get actor Burt Reynolds to come back and play for them. Those Florida Gators will be dangerous. Florida always has an awesome QB in the wings. Some experts say the Texas Longhorns will control college football this year. Nah I don't think so. Notre Dame doesn't have a prayer either. Got to like those Michigan Wolverines again. Alabama has a new coach and a QB controversy. Can Miami compete without Butch Davis? How about poor Virginia Tech without Michael Vick? Can Oklahoma repeat as National Champs? Only if they move to Oregon. You know who I'm rooting for this year. None other than Slippery Rock University. ROLL TIDE! TIDE NUMBER 1 IN 2001!

Yea...you put Michigan in the poll but not Miami....Either way neither of them are going to win it. Although Miami has better chance than Michigan. Miami lost too many players that would be why they don't make it....not because they lost their coach. Michigan lost more than Miami did....that is why they aren't going to make. I don't think that there will be a Big 10 team with less than 2 loses.

Obviously I picked FSU but that is only because I am homer. But I honestly think that UF is going to make the trip. They are going to be real tough this year and if SS doesn't find a way to ***** up both QB's they the front runners, them and Nebraska.

I don't think that Okla can do it. They won it last year because of their offense..IMO. And Heupel made that offense work. Granted thier defense is better than last years stellar defense they still have to go to Lincoln and then they have to beat Texas and possibly have to beat Neb again. I just don't see them doing this....not 2 years in a row anyway. (I know that they didn't play NEb twice last year...I just don't see them going undefeated again)

Tenn. might have the toughest schedule in the country and they aren't good enough to run through it. Count them out.

ANyway you slice it....the NC is going to have to go through the state of Florida.
