I have heard from a couple friends that "Bobby" wasn't all that good and you have given a fairly good rating, do you mind telling me a little about the movie?

Bobby has a tremendous ensemble cast with so many tremendous performances from actors in bit-parts (namely Harry Belafonte and Anthony Hopkins) who, while they weren't on the screen long enough or showcased enough to garner any awards, helped make the execution of the film work and intermingle several different character studies together.

Also, the final minutes of Bobby are some of the most emotionally draining moments I have seen in a movie this year (outside of United 93), and had my mother and most of the theatre audience openly weeping.

THIS YEAR's GOLDEN GLOBE SNUBS:
Robert Altman
Sophia Coppola
Matt Damon
Kirsten Dunst
Shareeka Epps
Ryan Gosling
The Good German
The Good Shepherd
Paul Greengrass
Half Nelson
Marie Antoinette
Michael Sheen
Steven Soderbergh
United 93
World Trade Center

I went eight of fourteen on my predictions last night, and I have to admit that I was shocked that BillyD's favorite movie Babel was able to defeat The Departed in the Best Motion Picture - Drama category last night.
