Perhaps you could explain some of your strategy or players you have on your teams. Then we could give you some pointers or tips. :)

This happened to me when I first started because I picked players I liked but sometimes they weren't very good.

Well, with a name like YankeesChick, at least your real life team doesn't stink. ;) ;)

Which brings me to Rule 8 in common Netiquette.

Let's get back on topic, maybe YankeesChick could tell us more on why her teams do poorly.
Lee, that was a typo in spelling Wane Gretsky wrong, too.:D  ;)

Well, I think the main thing in putting together a successful team is having a good draft. Thats where it all starts. In order to have a good draft, I like to get together "cheat sheets". If you've never heard of them, its a list of the top 25 pitchers lets say. These pitchers are ranked in order of the fantasy points they usually produce, or are projected to produce. These rankings are avalible at every position, and I usually like to get a few of them together, just to get a good balance. Then I make my own sheet, using the "cheat sheets" as a model, and use it for all my drafts. After every selection I cross of the player taken and select next best.

You could do it my way where I just get good people and if they do bad this season I trade them for better guys. I started out in 13th in my division and now I've been in 4th or better for about 7 weeks. :D
