The Plame Tragedy In One Act!

A while ago two dems from McLean, VA ( a spook secretary and her ambassador husband ) disagree with ramp-up to war in Iraq... spook recommends to her CIA bosses that her husband, an ambassador, go to Niger to try to disprove Iraq's plans to buy Yellowcake... ambassador returns from Niger and authors antagonistic hit piece full of lies in liberal New York Times condemning the President. Meanwhile, spook and her husband continue to play the couples scene in the DC social set; the spook uses a scarf to hide her identify. This couple is photographed around town as one of DC's fun couple... God knows why! A few months later, Richard Armittage, a chatty State Department big mouth, reveals to media that Ambassador Wilson's wife is a spook! Journalist prints that fact in newspaper. Investigation is initiated with specific goal to determine who outed Ms. Valerie; multi-million dollar investigation finds out who outed Valerie (Armitage), but instead, for no reason, turns direction 180 degrees and focuses upon White House (Rove et al.). Vice President Cheney's head of staff Mr. Scooter Libby questioned relentlessly until he is caught in a lie... he is tried and convicting of lying and investigation concludes. Then last week Ms. Valerie appears and everyone marvels when Ms. flat-chested spook blames White House!

That's Washington for 'ya!
