I was surprised to find out how many asked to be executed. Do you think we should allow this to go through quickly, or should we deny execution to those who ask for it, because it doesn't seem as though they consider it the greater punishement?
Personally I'd opt for the death penalty, too, if I had the choice between life imprisonment or death.
