Colin Cowherd does this at the beginning of each college football season. He make's his upset picks so we, as fans can take a sack of money to Vegas and place our bets according to him. We need to never worry about our income again.

Herd's top six FOR SURE bet's for 2007

#6. - Arizona State to cover Southern Cal
#5. - Purdue wins straight-up over Notre Dame
#4. - Texas A&M to cover Nebraska
#3. - Kentucky wins straight-up over Florida (Night game)
#2. - Alabama wins straight-up over LSU
And the number one game to bet the farm on in 07...
Wisconsin wins straight-up over Michigan.

The reason's why were given in each game. The Southern Cal loss is due to a lull and not prepared. The Notre Dame loss is due to a rought go with the three games pryor to this one. The Nebraska was just a match-up thing that Colin liked. ANd Florida going down to KU is because it's a night game in Kentucky, and the wildcats has the QB to pull it off. LSU according to Herd has three tough games in a row while bama has a week off to perpare to the tigers. And the main reason Michigan will fall to Wisconsin is...They over look them for Ohio State the following week.

The only one I would bet on, Is A&M over the Huskers. And I might take a little of that Purdue game also.

Is Texas A&M to cover, not even straight up beat, Nebraska really an upset? They're separated by 6 or 7 spots in the Coaches' Poll.

Arizona State has no chance against USC. Forget about it.
Is Purdue over ND really an upset? The Boilermakers are at home and ND is inexperienced. A bit shocking perhaps but Purdue was all over ND when the Irish were down a mere three seasons ago.
He could look smart with Kentucky over Florida but I still wouldn't feel too comfortable about this one.
Alabama over LSU is a good pick.
I don't see how Wisconsin over Michigan is an upset. The Badgers are at home and they're extremely close in the Coaches' Poll.

That's because this whole concept is b.s.

We're predicting spread covers and calling it sports talk.

Take it to Vegas.

I'm so sorry you can't comprehend what I write. Must be the highly successful Arkansas "education" system.

The game is in Tuscaloosa and St. Nick will do anything it takes to beat LSU. I wouldn't pick Alabama to win it but they certainly have a decent to good shot.

I love Alabama but they won't beat LSU in 2007.

The #1 reason is QB transfer Sam Keller. Ask AZ State if they would like to have him back. His stats from the 1st SEVEN games of 2005 (he went out with a season ending hand injury) :

CMP-155 ATT-264 YDS-2165 CMP%-58.7 YPA-8.2 LNG-65 TD-20 INT-9 SACK-15 RAT-145.78

He redshirted last season and has had an entire season to do nothing but practice Bill Callahan's offense. His best target, Maurice Purify was reinstated to the team last month.

The defense should be better than last season. They return 4 SR LBs. The running game is a bit suspect, but, as strange as this is to say, Nebraska will not rely on it much. Pass, pass, pass. USC will find there is a big difference in playing in Lincoln and playing at other hostile stadiums. No Oklahoma on the schedule. Texas A&M on the road. It could be a big year for the Huskers.

Of course, they could tank and go .500. :o
