Hi,
I am a new writer on the site and I live in West Bromwich, England. That's just outside Birmingham for those who may need a point of reference. I love anything to do with sports and I watch pretty much every sport going. I am mad on the history of sport, I could spend all day reading about the history of a sport, I feel understanding the past is crucial to appreciating the current state of sports.

Here is a list of the teams I support:
NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars
MLB: Atlanta Braves
NHL: Toronto Maple Leafs
NBA: Los Angeles Clippers
Soccer: West Bromwich Albion

You have no doubt spotted another reason why I take such an interest in the history of sports. The fact that the Maple Leafs have done nothing for over 40 years means I have to look to the past.

Welcome, Luke! :wavey:

You have a very diverse array of favorite teams, like me. I am interested in how you are able to follow U.S. teams living across the pond.

I started watching U.S. sports occasionally a fair few years ago now of a early morning on one of the channels over here that shows American sports most night.
However, now I have NASN on satellite which is the North American Sports Network, it shows loads of live NHL, MLB, college basketball and college football games. As well as that the British channel Sky Sports shows a huge amount of NFL, like 3 games on a Sunday, Monday Night Football and every play-off game, that's not including the interactive option where you have the choice of another game on Sundays if you don't want to watch the game shown on the ordinary channel. All in all, amazingly, Sky Sports shows more NFL games than English Premier League Soccer games. How times change.
So, it's easier to keep up than one would probably expect.

Yeah, I suport diverse teams, generally becuase I support the first teams that I saw play, if I actually lived in an American city then no doubt I would support all of the local teams from various sports.
