View Full Version : Second week of college football
Let's talk about this week's games. First, No. 4 Nebraska vs. No. 17 Notre Dame comes to mind. The Irish travel to Lincoln to fight the Huskers in what should be a great early season matchup. Nebraska's fans are rowdy and I don't see any upset here. Also, you have No. 10 Michigan vs. No. 19 Wisconsin - brutal Big Ten matchup on the way! I'm going with Wisconsin, they are more tested and are looking better at No. 10. Discuss away!

So how about that game tonight?
Notre Dame looked really rusty. If it hadn't been for the first half, they might have been in this game. At least Notre Dame's defense looked good in the 2nd half in not giving up any points. That was after giving up 27 points in the 1st half.
What do you guys think about Carlyle Holiday? At least Notre Dame seemed to finally get something going when he came into the game. Do you guys think he should start for Notre Dame at Quarterback now? Or do you guys think they should stick with Matt LoVecchio?

Without looking at the schedule, I'm guessing you mean Michigan and Wisconsin is the week after this week because Michigan was at Washington today and Wisconsin hosted Fresno State.
And speaking of which, how about Fresno State? What a sleeper they've been so far this season. Upset win at Colorado. Rout Oregon State at home and then come into Wisconsin today and win convincingly. I assume after all of that, they'll finally get ranked by the ESPN/USA Today poll. I guess the F.S.U. of the West isn't just a basketball school. :)
I think you are right, Spike. Wisconsin lost to Fresno State 32-20 yesterday. What an upset. I was also glad to see Notre Dame lose to Nebraska.
