Funny, I was gonna say Nick Johnson! He is awesome. So... here is a list of who I think is "next."
Nick Johnson
Michael Vick
Sam Madison/Patrick Surtain (Dolphins CBs, if they haven't already become stars in peoples eyes, these guys will be a great tandem if we can keep them and certainly defensive stars of the NFL)
Thats all for now, I'll let you know when I think of more! :)

In the NHL, it has got to be Vincent Lecavalier. He would produce so much better with a better team... I think San Jose or Calgary would be ideal for him -- a team just on the edge of becoming real competitive, and having Lecavalier would put them over that border line... plus, he's not noticed very much because of where he plays... most sports stations just get the Tampa Bay highlights over quickly because it's basically a waste of time to watch them play against most/all teams.
Everyone's talking about how basketball is doomed without M.J. - and they are right in certain ways - but one thing's for sure - there are some outstanding, bright young stars playing the NBA today! Such as:
1. Kevin Garnett
2. Vince Carter
3. Tracy McGrady

No Kobe? I like Kobe! :D
I think Jamal Reynolds of the NFL will rock this world in a few years. He's coming out into the Draft this year and will be drafted one or two. But really other than him there is noone. I think Reynolds is your best bet.

I like Jalen Rose of the Pacers in the NBA, but I don't know how old he is so he might not be young but he has only come to the fore recently.
I also like Mark Mulder of the A's (or is it the orioles, I always get them mixed up) in MLB, they have a great, young rotation over there.
