I've proposed this trade:

(My team) Faulk - Injured, but should be back in full-force in the second half of the season, undisputedly the top FF player.

(My team) Gannon - Underrated, IMO, a very good QB on a good team.

for

George - Recovering from injuries, on a good team, could break out any time now.

Manning - A good QB that is in the middle of a slump.

What do you think of this? I have been dealing Gannon all year long and I figure it's worth getting rid of Faulk now, if I can.

Not bad.

You upgrade slightly at QB, but you also downgrade slightly at RB. Personally, I wouldn't trade Faulk right now. His vaule is low because of the injury, so you probably can't get as much for him as you could if he was healthy. I'd hang on to him until he has a huge game and then trade him. That way, you can get the most for him and really improve your team.

With that trade, you really haven't improved your team any.

Good points. The trade didn't go through, so I guess I am glad.

I would be glad that trade didnt' go through. I think basically its a wash at QB with Manning getting a very slight edge, if any this year, no doubt he's the better QB though. But at RB, I wouldnt' do that this year. I think this year is a lost year for Eddie George with his injuries, while Faulk should bounce back wtih no problem.
