Thanks to SC affiliate Kellogg's Komments (http://www.komments.com), the SC site is running their fantasy football column, as well as the SCMB now. Enjoy, FF managers!

-----------------

Bulls - Expect these guys to give you good return on your dollar this week!

Quarterbacks

Greg - Elvis Grbac, Baltimore - The King is back and Tennessee sucks on pass defense. What more do you need to know?

Mark - Jake Plummer, Arizona - I'm going out on a limb and picking Jake to have a good week. Last year, he passed for 2 TDs and over 300 yards in his only game against the Giants. He also threw 3 picks. Hopefully, he will throw to the right team the whole game.

Running Backs

Greg - Terrell Davis, Denver - Denver is hosting the Chargers this weekend. The same Chargers that allowed Priest Holmes to gain 190 total yards and score a TD. In fact, this once stout defense has allowed 394 rushing yards in its last three games. Terrell looked very quick last week. Expect a couple bursts this week as well.

Mark - Tiki Barber, New York Giants - Might as well go to the tip of the limb. The Torchman did well in both games against the Cardinals last year. Ron Dayne is always present, but Tiki should have a good game. Coaches remember what worked well last time.

Wide Receivers

Greg - Antonio Freeman, Green Bay - Freeman faces a pretty tough Bears defense this week, but both San Francisco and the Cleveland Browns proved they could be thrown on. With Schroeder still dinged, look for Freeman to be Brett Favre's favorite target this weekend.

Mark - Isaac Bruce, St. Louis - Bruce has a tough matchup this week against Doug Evans but Warner isn't afraid to go to anyone. Holt looks like a better pick as Bruce is hurting a little. That's just what makes for a good performance.

Tight Ends

Greg - Wesley Walls, Carolina - With Chris Weinke likely sitting this one out the Panthers will turn to Matt Lytle and Jim Harbaugh to try and get the job done. Facing the Rams ensures that Carolina will be throwing the ball and most inexperienced QBs tend to rush things leading to good results for those running shorter routes - like TEs.

Mark - Chad Lewis, Philadelphia - The Eagles face the Minnesota defense. Lewis should get some looks and a chance to hit pay dirt against the Vikings.

Place Kickers

Greg - Todd Peterson, Kansas City - Peterson has made all seven of his FG opportunities in his last three games. Expect the Chiefs to move the ball enough to get him another two or three tries this weekend.

Mark - Olindo Mare, Miami - Mare has done very well this year when given a chance. Olindo should get some chances against the Colts' defense.

Team Defenses

Greg - Dallas Cowboys - The 'Boys are facing an Atlanta team that may be without their best QB. Michael Vick is exciting, but he is also a rookie that will make mistakes. If Ryan Leaf can complete a couple of bombs to Joey Galloway or Raghib Ismail, that defense could surprise this weekend.

Mark - New England Patriots - New England vs. Buffalo is always a battle. The Patriots' defense should be primed for Rob Johnson and the rest of the surfers.

Bears - Watch your cash wad magically disappear if you start these guys!

Quarterbacks

Greg - Peyton Manning, Indianapolis - Manning has had a very good year so far. When he isn't tossing TDs he seems to be running for them. The Dolphins have been strong against the pass, but only average against the run - this will be the Dominic Rhodes show as Manning drops out of the top ten for the week.

Mark - Matt Hasselbeck or Trent Dilfer, Seattle - Oakland has a solid defense and both QB's could see action if things continue as they have. Maybe Mike Holmgren could trade and get Kitna back.

Running Backs

Greg - Eddie George, Tennessee - I said it last week about Jerome Bettis and I will repeat it this week - nobody runs well against the Ravens. And though George appears to be improving, playing Baltimore at anything less than 100% is a recipe for disaster. Don't get caught up in this one.

Mark - Charlie Garner, Oakland - Charlie is a great back and should have a good game against Seattle. But in order to score a TD, he may have to score from outside the red zone as Zack Crockett is the goal line back.

Wide Receivers

Greg - David Boston, Arizona - Boston is a great up-and-coming young talent. And he is going to be able to produce against anyone - someday. With the Giants desperately needing a win, look for them to concentrate on getting to Plummer early which should hurt Boston's chances in this tilt.

Mark - Darrell Jackson, Seattle - If you plan on starting him, make sure he's going to start. Holmgren may shake things up and let Darrell sit.

Tight Ends

Greg - Chad Lewis, Philadelphia - Lewis is living on last year's accomplishments. It's really not his fault, though. Until Andy Reid starts having Donovan McNabb throw to him, Lewis will be mediocre, at best. With just one good game this year, Lewis should already have made his way to your bench.

Mark - Erron Kinney, Tennessee - Erron was a good start in the beginning of the season, but Frank Wycheck has been getting all the looks lately.

Place Kickers

Greg - Jose Cortez, San Francisco - After connecting on 11 consecutive FGs, Cortez has missed three of his last four. In fact, Cortez has made only one FG in each of his last four games. Perhaps his leg is tiring from the strain of two seasons without a break (XFL - NFL).

Mark - Jason Hanson, Detroit - Tampa Bay's defense should keep the Lions in check. The game is indoors, but Jason may not get a lot of chances to score.

Team Defenses

Greg - Oakland Raiders - The Seahawks are not as bad as their record would indicate. They have a solid running game with Shaun Alexander and if they can avoid the critical mistakes, they should be able to move the ball on an Oakland defense that has given up 38 points and 561 yards in their past two games.

Mark - Dallas Cowboys - Believe it or not, Dallas has been a decent play as a fantasy "D". This week, they face the Falcons and won't do as well against Atlanta's offense.
