View Full Version : Kentucky stunned by Western Kentucky
We are still months away from March Madness, but we are already seeing some upsets. Western Kentucky upset No. 3 Kentucky 64-52, capitalizing on poor shooting my the Wildcats. Sorry, Marc. :)

Looks like the college b-ball season is getting into swing. I can't wait.
Western Kentucky is very good, they will be around in March, so Kentucky just overlooked them. How about St. Joe's losing to Eastern Washington? That one shocked me more.
I will give credit where credit is due - Western Kentucky played great all night. Kentucky never got any offensive flow and Prince and Bogans had tough games. Too sloppy of play.
I thnk Kentucky was really missing starting senior PG J.P. Blevins - he is not expected to score, but he does keep the game under control and help get the Cats in sync, something they couldn't get in last night. This was the first game for a lot of the young players (i.e. Chuck Hayes) and they obviously were very nervous.
The season is long and one game is insignificant. I would rather lose one game now than in March. You don't want to face Kentucky in March, trust me.
I am glad I had the pleasure of watching last night's game and tonight's game against Marshall - thanks, DirecTV!
