Since we apparently have a lot of gamers here, I thought I'd show you all Microsoft's site where they are seeking X-Box testers!

I hate video games. So expensive and then 2 years later it is obselete.

..there are just TWO criteria for that, and there are few on these boards, I'd assume, that meet both of them:

To qualify, you must match both criteria below:
1. Live in the Seattle/Puget Sound region.
2. Are 13 years of age or older.

...you had my hopes really high there for a second, Marc

...I also agree with Wedge -- I gave up on video games when SEGA went out-of-date (amazing how SEGA & SNES & NES games used to cost $60!!).... BUT, I am seriously considering buying Xbox when it comes out... depending if it's "reasonable", I guess (any word on the price for Xbox?)

find someone who doesn't want to test the damn thing.

Running off 700 PIII, 64MB RAM, 268 FPS speeds.

Compared to PS2 236 processor, 16MB RAM (i think), 76 FPS (i think).

XBOX has already sold six copies, and it's not even been released yet. And microsoft employees are not allowed to own it...so six die hard fans already got one.

It's almost as good as my $3G desktop for gods sake, and it's going to sell for $400.

Microsoft wouldn't sell it to you for less than your right arm right now. It wouldn't be worth the pre-oder.

MS Is releasing the X-Box officially monday, at 9:30 A.M. Central Time, so you could probably pre-order then.

Until then, just check out http://www.xbox.com and get all the info you need there. Join the mailing list for sure!
