Incredible. Simply incredible. A lot of people say LT is the best LB of all-time. I think Lewis has topped that. He's a monster. At first, I was stupid enough to think that he was overrated. Not anymore.

Kudos to the Ravens. I can't wait to see the game against the Raiders. Depending on Napoleon Kaufman's status, and if they can stop Wheatley, the Ravens will be representing the AFC in Tampa. That's gonna be a tough one to call.

Lewis and the Ravens D are terrific, but I wonder...

I'm thinking of another thread where we were discussing if defense wins championships. The general consensus seemed to be yes, it does, if there's enough offense to balance that defense out.

Yesterday the Ravens' D / special teams came up with 14 of 24 points. I wonder if the Ravens' O is enough to world champions? The Lewis-led defense is certainly SB-caliber, but a Trent Dilfer led-O? Hmmm. However, the O does have two weapons in Jamal Lewis and Shannon Sharpe.

I think a Raiders-Ravens SB could be one of the best of all time, maybe on a par with last year's game.

On another note, I don't even think about Lewis's brush with the law anymore, and I live a few miles from where all that happened, I've walked on the sidewalk in front of that bar (now closed) dozens of times. His field play has subverted all that, IMHO. I don't even think he was really involved--if anything, he was guilty of hanging out with some questionable characters.

Yeah, Ray Lewis is incredible. It is almost mind boggling to think how good he would be if he didnt spend the offseason killing people. A couple years ago, I often joked around with my friends saying that pro players could get away with murder. Well, I guess they can. Just ask O.J. Simpson, Ray Carruth, and Ray Lewis.
