No, I'm not talking about his new haircut (completely shaved now). I'm talking about his new hat. Last year, his "TW" symbol was a very subtle part of his hat -- it was at the back. Now, though, I can't figure out why Nike would print Woods' "TW" logo on the FRONT of their caps. Wouldn't they want the Nike logo to be most predominant?

I don't like his new hat.

(ya, OK -- poor excuse for a subject for a thread but I just don't like that hat.... the Nike swoosh is much more appealing)

What?? -- No one's seen his cap??.. he's like the only guy the show on the golf highlights!!!

...be sure to watch the highlights tomorrow from the Sony Open and tell me what you think.

there ya go, it is a bit weird how they don't have the nike logo anywhere on the front. Not even a little tick.

Yeah, you'd think Nike would want more direct promotion... but I have no problem with it. The simple Nike swish was effective, though.

I like the new look. I get sick of seeing the logo everywhere. Maybe Nike is suffering from negative backlash?

Maybe.... anywho -- welcome to the SCMB, McpatrickClan. I see all of your posts have come in the PGA forum as of now, but hopefully you move onto our other boards, too! I hope to see more of you around here.

did they change it back or just for the masters? cause I recall him having the "swoosh" last weekend.

On Thursday and Friday he wore the "TW" hat at Agusta. I guess he changes it based on whatever Nike wants 'cuz I think both logos are owned by Nike... the Nike logo is on the back of the TW hat, too.

...somethin' I was surprised at, at his wardrobe was that on his shirt, the Nike logo was black and hard to see, instead of the "traditional" white.

Tiger will do whatever Nike tells him to do.

Which is know different then what the rest of us has to do if the people who are paying us, tell us to do. My boss tells me to do something, I had better do it, he does pay me after all. Nike pays Tiger, I'm quite sure he has to listen a little anyway.

I would just stick with what works winning 2 straight majors in the 2002 season if I were him :)

I think it was ESPN.com -- I didn't save it, though. :( Maybe you can find it, but I'm sure that was what I read.
