Custom user titles?

Would you be in favor of having these? What am I talking about, you ask? I'm referring to the text under your name... you could have the ability (after meeting a set of undetermined requirements) to change that to whatever you want. Would you be interested in this or are you okay with what we have now?

...I think this should be the option, but is it possible for Moderators to have TWO lines?? -- one for their "moderator" line and a second, custom one??... if not, that's OK but I definitley think it should be an option, even if you can't do my suggestion as well.

Since I've become a member at Sitepoint, I really like the option they have of custom user titles after so many posts. Unfortunately, I'm not to the required 200 yet, so I'm left waiting. But, I am definately in favor of it. Especially if it is like that.

Also, I'm going to have to agree with Lee. Mods and Admins should be able to have two lines. Sorta like Sitepoint's Leader images.

My experience tells me that most people only visit the forum that they like the most..... ie, baseball fans only visit the MLB forum, basketball fans only visit the basketball forum..... SOME may venture over to the Lounge... few go elsewhere, including the suggestion forum.... so unless you PM everyone asking them what they think and to post in this thread, I don't think you'll get much more response than what you've already got.

I think it'd be cool, think it should be implied, and I don't think it impacts many people if it is or isn't installed.

Thanks for the input. If it were to be enabled, you would need a certain number of posts to qualify. I have not determined that yet.

I imagine it will be something much higher than the limit for avatars. Probably somewhere around the 250 you are predicting, Lee.

Well I think it's a great idea. They're always a hit with the members when I see them at other sites (and my site)

250 is a little high for me :( 150 is much more managable (sp?) !
