Is it just me, or does it seem like Sergio Garcia's swing has more flaws in it than your Grandma's?

I dont know how he does it. With the wierd grip, the way he holds the club on the top of his backswing, his inability to finish on his feet, but he is still a great golfer.

Ive seen guys with almost perfect swings, that were below average golfers, and guys with the wierdest swings youve ever seen kickin' butt on the course.

I guess its more of the experience, mental confidence, and speed through the ball than the form of the swing.

yeah, one of the most important thing is when and where the ball and club face meet. You could do something totally funky ( ever seen Jim Furyk!? ) and produce the best shots each time!

I've never noticed anything unusual about Sergio's swing but then again I've never really taken a good look at it. How's he doing? Personally, I'm waiting for Ty Tryon to turn pro, I think in June!? Could be wrong..

Could be wrong..Garcia won the opening event of the PGA Tour this year, the Mercedes Championship -- a good start for his pre-season goal of leading both the PGA & EPGA Tour's money list.

Tryon can play on the PGA Tour any time this season but won't be "pro" and thus, won't win any money until he turns 18.. yes, sometime in June, I think. However, he won't be on the Tour much (if at all) until his b-day... I think his first event is the Phoenix Open (and, FYI... Woods isn't scheduled to make an appearence there).

It would be interesting to see the position Tiger takes on Ty's decision to turn pro at such a young age. Many people say age doesnt have alot to do with but with golf I think it is a major factor. I'm hoping Tiger will remember what he went through when he decided to turn Pro, he did get alot of slack from the other players. Maybe this will encourage him to take Ty seriously as many have already decided they won't.
