I was just wondering everybody's opinion on the best basketball basketball movies (not highlight films or season reviews) out there.

Also, list your favorite basketball movie.

Just to start the list out ... my favorite basketball movie is Blue Chips ... with Nick Nolte, Shaq, Penny, Larry, and company. Great movie.

I like Space Jam and Hoosiers thats a good basketball movie

Gosh, there's a handful of decent b-ball movies I've seen. One that comes to mind is "He Got Game", and other Spike Lee productions.

I haven't seen "Space Jam". I heard it was good. For some reason, I love the theme music from that one though, "I Believe I Can Fly" (if that's the title). I just think it's a cool song.

Anyways, I actually haven't seen many basketball movies but my favorite drama basketball movie was "Hoosiers". I thought Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper did pretty good in that one.

And my favorite comedy basketball movie was "White Men Can't Jump". That had me laughing all over, hehe. Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes had me in stitches.

I like Space Jam. I haven't seen "He Got Game" for some reason... I'll see it one day. :)

How about Celtic Pride? Eh, I love that movie.

Oh and maybe my love comes from being a Jazz fan?

Mine are He Got Game, White Men Can't Jump and Space Jam.
If you were to ask my favourite basketball highlights movie I would say Michael Jordan's Playground (I have seen it 100 times).
Well finally I came back to these forums to post, might start posting more often.

Celtic Pride? Wasn't that a comedy with like Damon Wayans and Bill Murray and some other great comedians? If so, I like that one a lot too!

I haven't seen many basketball movies, but the one that really stands out is Hoosiers.

I also liked Blue Chips as well.
