Ryan Wilkins,
Gald to have you on board, however, if you plan to continue and/or advance your writing career you should probably get out of the habit of copying others' work.

Folks, Peter is talking about Ryan Wilkins' new article, "The Over and Under on Player Ratings":
http://www.sports-central.org/sports/mlb/articles/article113.shtml
As for the issue on hand, the only similarity is Ryan's order and listing of the players. The descriptions and everything else are entirely original. As he says, this is a rebuttal of sorts and is meant to be taken that way. He disagreed with ESPN's analysis and decided to give his view.

Peter,
Plagerism is a serious, serious, offense -- and I'd just like to say that I have not, in any way, plagerized a single word in my entire life.
With that being said, perhaps you should actually READ the article I wrote before accusing me of something as serious as this. If you had read the entirety of the piece, you would see that what I wrote was devoted to evaluating an already-drawn-up list by ESPN.com's Bill Konigsberg -- as it is mentioned in paragraph two. It states it explicitly. From there I go on to say "...let's take a look at the aforementioned list of players and see how close ESPN.com came to being "right"; by -- this time -- using consistent methods of evaluation to see what's what in terms of player ratings. "
I'm not quite sure how you missed this -- or how it is you misunderstood the focus of my article -- but at no time do I claim to be writing an original list: only evaluating a list that I felt to be somewhat incorrect.
I'm sorry for the mix up, and I hope no one else was under the impression that I plagerized a single word from another source. I am an original writer, trying to make a name for himself, and I already understand that plagerism is not the best way to go about doing that.
Accuse me of having an unoriginal style. Accuse me of having an unoriginal point of view. I can take that. But please, if you're going to acccuse me of having unoriginal content, at least read the article first. It will make it easier on everyone involved.

I hope this clears everything up. :)
