With the Olympics and the CAN/USA game, the PGA Tour was last on most sport stations highlit list. Nevertheless, another Canadian made his mark on the PGA Tour last Sunday: Ian Leggat won his first ever event and over $400,000. Leggat just barely missed qualifying for another Tour card last year, and had to go through Q-School again to make it onto the PGA Tour this year.
The event Legatt won in was the Tuscon Open. Interestingly enough, this was Legatt's first win, which means that in each of the past 4 years, the Tuscon Open was host to someone's first ever PGA Tour victory!
