From SportsLine (http://cbs.sportsline.com/u/ce/multi/0,1329,3423471_52,00.html):

Sanders' signing came as a surprise. The two-sport professional tried to resume his baseball career last spring as a Reds minor leaguer, but went home to Texas on May 11 and later refused to play for the Reds when they needed an outfielder.

Instead, Sanders signed a contract with the Washington Redskins that did not rule out a return to baseball. He talked the Reds into giving him another chance last week.

What do you guys think of Sanders' decision to play baseball and football at this stage in his career? Personally, I think it's a mistake. He should stick with his forte, his speciality, and that's football.

I believe that Deion is a special, talented athlete and if that is what makes him happy, then do it. I believe he can excel at both sports and if he fits into the Reds scheme, great. He basically just wants to play some baseball, he obviously doesn't need the money at this stage.

I think he should make up his mind. Stick to football if you can't stay committed to baseball.

He sucks at baseball, the only good thing he can do is pinch run. Remember when that ball hit off his head into the left field stands for a homerun? Hah!

I don't remember that.... Not fair, I seem to miss everything, I will now watch ESPN 24/7 from now until I'm dead so I don't miss anything again.

Yeah, I remember that. It was so funny! For the next couple games, his teamates blew a big bubble gum bubble and stuck them on their heads to mock him! lol!

The Mets do that a lot in their games.

i think deion needs to stick to football because he sucks at baseball. if he wasnt that fast then no baseball team would have picked him up. now he is just hangin in there as a crappy outfielder.
