Eastern Conference Starters
F Vince Carter 28.4 ppg
F Grant Hill 13.8 ppg (IR -- only 4 games this season)
C Alonzo Mourning 0 ppg (DNP -- sat out all season)
G Allen Iverson 29.0 ppg
G Tracy McGrady 26.8 ppg

Here's the East's "starting" lineup. As I have done in many past posts, I will say that it's a joke that Zo and Hill are in there. Point taken. But Vince, Allen, and Tracy were all good selections. It'll be great seeing these guys playing together on the same court (just imagine the excitement). My guess is that Theo Ratliff will start at center, but who starts at PF?

Western Conference Starters
F Chris Webber 26.6 ppg
F Tim Duncan 20.0 ppg
C Shaquille O'Neal 26.9 ppg
G Kobe Bryant 29.3 ppg
G Jason Kidd 9.8 apg

Here's the West's "starting" lineup. On paper, it looks like a dream team, but there is some worry looking at those starters. The only person not involved in "controversy" of these five is Chris Webber, who right now is battling Iverson for MVP. There's stories with the other four though. Tim Duncan is having his worst full year as a pro. Jason Kidd beat his wife and has all the attention now on that, not his game. Shaq and Kobe both "hate" playing on the same team.

My questions to everybody. Other than Zo and Grant Hill, were these eight players deserving of their spots? And who is going to be the starting center and power forward in the East? Also, who's going to win the all-star game this year (even though it means absolutely nothing). Congratulations to those selected, and here's hoping an exciting and fun all-star game.
