After this weekend who will win the US OPEN at Bethpage in 2 weeks? Will be somebody from the top 10 money winners or will we get a suprise from more of an unknown player? Will Davis Love break through like he did at Winged Foot a few yrs. back? I am heading the week before to Westchester which should be a competative field.

Is this the weekend of the 15/16???... if so, that sux 'cuz US Open is my fav golf tourney and I'm always studying for exams (Chem on the 17th)... hopefully it spills over into Monday again and I can watch it to celebrate Monday afternoon after my final high school exam :D
The layout out Bethpage will have all the players hitting there Drivers extensively. Edge Woods. The course will also be the most physically demanding course the players walk this year. It is extremely long, very hilly and it will probably be very warm. Edge here also Woods. The course also is so long, yardage wise, and the greens are so hard, that only a few players will be in the running.............the huge hitters.
There may be 70 players playing the weekend but only about 6 or 7 have a chance to win.
It is the type of course where only a few people will be under par, I think all this really favors Tiger.
Mark O'meara and Tiger played here a week ago and O'meara really struggled. On one par 4 it is so long (499 yds i believe is the yardage) O'meara couldn't even reach the fairway cut on 3 tries.
I'll pick Tiger............really going out on a limb here huh?

I don't know.... in the shots I saw of the course there seemed to be a lot of fairway bunkers... edge to whoever misses them on those when they use their drivers.
