I only found this out a few days ago, but the ENTIRE league is owned by the same guys that own the WWF. Unlike other professional leagues, there are NO individual owners. The head office of the XFL and NBC run the entire thing... that's how the NHL should solve their problems!

Another thing, players are payed extra for winning. This gives them a good reason to go out and play hard every night.

Of course, a downer for the XFL is the opening "coin toss" -- in the Orlando game, the guy that lost the sprint got a separated shoulder, I heard.

Anyways, financially, the XFL should work, I think.

Well, this isn't true. "The guy," Vince McMahon, actually doesn't own a dime of the XFL. The league is owned 50-50 by WWF Entertainment and NBC.

All the XFL has to do to survive is average a 5 rating. In other words, 5% of American households need to be turned into the XFL on Saturday night. Last night, the Las Vegas-New York/New Jersey game had a 10 rating.

So far, so good.

Just to clear myself up, I didn't say "the guy," I said, "the guys"... meaning "WWF Entertainmnet" -- I just didn't know what to call it. :)
