I am in an 8 player keeper league. if EJ is healthy this year, NO ONE has the backfield I do.

I am thinking of dealing James, WR P Buress, and a 1st rounder for MFaulk.

or dealing a 2nd rounder, and a WR to acquire Dominic Rhodes, EJs back up.

What do yall think? Should I offer the farm for Rhodes and sit tight at that? Should I go after Faulk? Should I offer the farm and Tomlinson to someone to get another top 10 back and hope that EJ remains healthy? I already tried to nail Shaun Alexander for Tomlinson and Buress and came close but no deal.

My 8 man roster right now is

B Favre - QB
L Tomlinson - RB
E James - RB
M Alstott - RB
P Buress - WR
K Dyson - WR
J Plummer - QB
W Walls - TE

I think James will remain healthy this season. And to me James is the 2nd most complete back in the NFL. Here are my top 5 most complete backs who make their teams go.....

1. Marshall Faulk
2. Edgerrin James
3. Curtis Martin
4. Ahman Green
5. Priest Holmes

Honorable mention goes to Corey Dillon

Trade for Faulk if anything, I would not trade for Rhodes even though he was a great back up and produced great fantasy league numbers last season. And well plus think about this, Indy has to play the Titans twice so that is 2 bad games for Indy tailbacks....lol. Ok being realistic once again I would trade for Faulk if you can and make that my first option.

Personally, I'd trade for Faulk if you could get him, but don't worry if you still have James because as you said, your backfield is very potent no matter what. Rhodes may not get sufficient playing time this year and is a bit of a risk, IMO.

If I were you, I'd bolster my WR corps over anything.

I would focus on WR right now, and if you have a chance get Faulk. Keep Plummer he's gained weight and has Boston, he could be a pleasant surprise.
