Time to lace up the skates with SC's second year of SCML hockey 2003!!! View the info below and sign up now!!
1. Login to Y! and then click here (http://hockey.fantasysports.yahoo.com/hockey/reg?page=registerteam)
2. Click the "Join Private League" circle and on the following page, enter league ID # 2104. The password to join our league is 2n0h0l3.
3. For the latest league transactions and to view and edit your line-up, as well as to talk to fellow coaches, you can click here (http://hockey.fantasysports.yahoo.com/hockey/show?page=leaguehome&lid=2104) to view our league's homepage, all season long!

I sent an e-mail to all the team managers. However, I got returns from the registered e-mail addresses of Brandon and "utopian_turtle." For them, and for anyone else who's letter was lost, here it is:
SCML Hockey Managers;
Hello, and welcome to the second season of SCML hockey. The skate blades are freshly sharpened, the pucks are hard and cold, obstruction is down (again!??), the saftey netting is up, so it's time to lace 'em up, put on your game face, and get ready for some hard hittin', hi-flyin', top notch hockey 'cuz the opening faceoff is just seconds away!
If that don't get you pumped up about this fantasy hockey season, nothing will as this is sure to be a great and competitive league this season -- only 8 managers means that we should have a lot of high-scoring games this season. I'm not going to be an in-your-face comissioner (except when I prounce all over you during your matches with me), but if you have an issue, please e-mail me and I'll do my best to resolve it.
The LIVE online draft for this league is Sunday, September 29 (this upcomming Sunday!!) at the following time:
Eastern Time Zone -- 11:25 AM
Central Time Zone -- 10:25 AM
Mountain Time Zone -- 9:25 AM
Pacific Time Zone -- 8:25 AM
...and just because I've always wanted to be Peter Mansbridge, "that's 11:55 in Newfounland" :) haha

Just for everybody's info, the new address is bengebretson@montana.edu. I forgot that I haven't changed Yahoo! settings yet. But I'm ready. Not sure if I'll make the draft though, we'll see how it goes, but I'm ready to kick some butt in the season.
Draft went pretty well, guys. But is the Y! Hockey site VERY slow for you, as well? Been that way since this morning for me.

Oh, and RE: Brandon.... I have the same thing regarding Marc in SCFF... but the 2 differences are: 1) I do the necessary research in sports I don't always watch to exceed (ie, at least make the playoffs), and 2) you will not beat me. Period. :)
All I know is my offense is pretty good, but my goaltending has been disappointing. :uhoh:

I shouldn't have to tell you this, but it's my first hockey league, I'm learning as I go, so stop taking cheap shots. ;) Of course I'm trying to challenge ... it's early, but I would call making a trade and changing my lineups trying to challenge. But then again, I guess Chris is just another dumb American. :rolleyes:

Nah, Chris seems to know hockey from what I know of him.... problem is, he's a Ranger fan ...but he's a smart Ranger fan -- smart enough to not draft any Rangers on a fantasy team 'cuz all they do is hurt ya :D

I'm surprised I am somewhat respectable in the league so far. Not much else to say, but I hope to climb the rankings more. ;)

Yes, and you better watch out. I would've beat you 7-2 last week had we played. I've been up and down for the past 9 weeks after going undefeated the first 6 weeks, but I'm back now. My team will get its first 2-game win streak since week #3 this week ;) :nod:

ya... i got brind'amour out which is big for me 'cuz he gets the FW's... when is Pronger comming back if at all, or should I just let 'em go? ...i have him in another league also but it's a keeper so i must keep him there
Good D-Men are hard to pick up. I don't know if Pronger is coming back at all this year. Maybe playoffs but I'm not sure. The 3 IR spots has totally saved me so far in this pool. How long is Brind'Amour out anyways??
