Last summer the Raptors traded Doug Christie to Sacramento they got Corliss Williamson in return. Unfortunately for the Raptors, Williamson has been a huge dissapointment. He has averaged just 9.5ppg, 21.7mpg, 3.8 rpg and 64.1 FT%.
I think that the Raptors will trade Williamson before the trade deadline, probably for someone that can shoot if Carter gets double teamed, has quick hands and can steal the ball. Does anyone else think he should be traded?

Yeah, I live in Sacramento and while I'm not a Kings' fan that trade has worked out incredibly well for the Kings. It gave the Kings a good backcourt defender (something they've sorely needed) and allowed Predrag Stojakovic to be inserted in the starting lineup where he has really flourished. Stojakovic's outside shooting has complimented Webber and Vlade Divac's post game so well.
That was the big problem with Corliss here. He never developed that outside shot to help him be a better small forward. And I don't see the Raptors a lot, so I'm interested in this, J_Sinclair, how has Corliss done with his outside shot over there? Can he hit it consistently now? Since, he's benched and not getting that much playing time now my guess is "no".

Yeah, your right...he only shoots from a few feet out and he usually misses...he is starting to become one of those players that play at the end of the game when a team is either losing by a lot or winnning by a lot.

Oh sorry to hear that. That's too bad. Before the Kings traded for Webber and drafted Jason Williams, the fans just loved Corliss here. This was his kind of town because he's a farm boy from Arkansas. At the time he was one of the few guys who publicly said he wanted to actually stay in Sacramento, back when they were horrible.
By the way, J_Sinclair, how's Michael "Yogi" Stewart doing up in Toronto these days? He get any playing time? What do you think of him? He's another guy that the Kings' fans really liked when he was here, partly because he grew up here and was a Kings' ballboy back in the 1980's.

...just a note to re-open this thread..... Williamson, as reported by The Sports Network based in Toronto, has requested a trade from the Raptors.
