I just wanted to congratulate Larry Brown on his 1,000 career professional coaching victory last night vs. the Clippers.
According to ESPN.com,
"Brown, in his fourth season with the Sixers, is 1,000-707 when his NBA totals are added to his ABA record with Carolina and Denver. He also has coached Denver, New Jersey, San Antonio, the Los Angeles Clippers and Indiana. He ranks third on the career list behind Lenny Wilkens of the Toronto Raptors and Pat Riley of the Miami Heat.
Brown also coached at UCLA and Kansas and has a career coaching record of 1,176-768."
The 76ers are off to an amazing start so far this year, thanks to Brown (and that AI guy!). For my sake, I hope this trend of winning continues until they win it all! (Boy am I a homer.) But again, congratulations Larry Brown, it's quite an accomplishment.
